The Lovechannels exists for the purpose of connecting people to God via the gospel, and training them into a community that is unified in love, changing their word.

The Lovechannels is a community of God that is committed to grooming men/women that function in harmony with one another through the Acronym – CDCCBR.

(L)OVE: (LOVE WITHOUT RESTRAINT, VALUE PEOPLE, HOSPITALITY, HARMONY)

LOVE WITHOUT RESTRAINT: This vision is bathed on the foundation of unconditional love of God for man. It is the understanding of this God kind of love “agape” that launches you into the realm of living a life of distinction on earth. Rom. 13:10

VALUE PEOPLE: We value people and their differences. We go a mile to celebrate them, to appreciate them, not just a matter of acceptance but to recognize that God put them in our lives for a specific reason. Romans 15:7 “Accept one another just as Christ has accepted you.”

HOSPITALITY: Hospitality is known as entertaining and welcoming guests or visitors. It is a genuine way to show love for others. Matt. 25:40 tells us that whatever we do for the least of people, we do for Him. 1 Pet. 4:8-9.

HARMONY: The LoveChannels is a community of God that is committed to training men and women that function in harmony with one another.

We so much believe in what Jesus said in John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

(I)NTEGRITY EFFECTIVE CHRISTIANITY, OPTIMISM.

EFFECTIVE CHRISTIANITY: The more Christ you have in the Christian, the more the Christian will represent Christ. Gal. 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me…” (NKJV). Everyone who believes on the finished work of Christ and that God raised Jesus from the dead is saved and has become a Christian. Beyond this we believe that Christians are Christ-like according to scriptures.

OPTIMISM: Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

That’s really just another word for faith.  The Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God. Believe that God not only can do it but that He will do it and that He is doing it.

A pessimistic Christian is a slap to the character of God. We are an optimistic church.

(K)NOWLEDGE: LEARNING, NEW INNOVATION, APPLICATION OF SCRIPTURES

LEARNING: We believe that learning is the lifestyle of leadership. “All leaders are learners.” The moment you stop learning, you stop leading. Growing churches require growing members, lay ministers, growing pastors. The moment we stop growing, the church stops growing. Matt. 28:19-20 (AMP).

NEW INNOVATION: For a lot of churches, the seven last words are, “We’ve never done it that way before.” At LOVECHANNELS, our motto is, “Why not?” We’ve had to try out new things even if they don’t work.

We’re not offended or frightened by failure. Failure is not failing to reach a goal.  Failure is trying. We believe in innovation. Rom. 12:6, Exodus. 35:35.

APPLICATION OF SCRIPTURES: James 1:22-25, Col. 3:16 We value the application of Scripture. In other words, making it part of our life – internalizing it. We believe that God wants truth in action.

We believe that God wants doctrine turned into deeds. “Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves but do what it says.”

The Bible was not given to increase our knowledge. The Bible was given to change our lives. Christianity is a lifestyle therefore; we value the application of Scripture.

(E)XCELLENCE: EXISTENCE WITH PURPOSE, TEAMWORK, EXCELLENCE

EXISTENCE WITH PURPOSE: We believe that we are created for a purpose. Thank God for various ambitions in life, we must not forget that the creator of our life had a purpose for creating.

Therefore, we must not lose sight of our giftedness and calling.
Proverb 19:21 says, “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

Plans, programs, and personalities don’t last. But God’s purpose will last. We encourage men and women to live on purpose. We teach brethren to discover destiny and pursue it.

TEAMWORK: The body of Christ or the people that are the whole of humanity, are a team. The body is not supported by one person, but by all of us.

We are one, we are strongest working together in unity. Teamwork is the key to living life in harmony, so that we can do God’s will. 1 Cor. 12:14

EXCELLENCE: We believe that God deserves our best. That superior quality should mark what a Christian does. That it is a good testimony for a Christian to produce superior quality.

It is a poor testimony for a Christian to have inferior quality. We strive for excellence in everything that we do. We strive for it in worship.

We strive for it in music, in messages, in teaching, in pastoral care, in evangelism, in organization, in advertising. Everything we do we want to do it with class, with quality, with excellence, because God deserves our best.

“Each man should test his own action then he can take pride in himself without comparing himself to others.” You can take pride in your ministry as long as you don’t compare yourself to others.

You do it by testing yourself, evaluating for excellence.

(S)ERVICE: NETWORKING, SERVICE

NETWORKING: We believe that people are gifted differently and we respect every individual that God has made with different abilities. One of the things that we’ve tried to do here is to value diversity. We don’t just accept people who are different.

We value differences and networking with these differences give us effective service. We believe more than that, that God has shaped everybody differently for a purpose, for a reason, for significance. In a church, you can have unity without uniformity. You can have differences without division.  Eccl. 4:9-12

SERVICE: Service means that we place the needs of the unchurched before our own needs. It’s turning the pyramid upside down. Jesus said,

“Your attitude must be like my own. I did not come to be served but to serve.”

We believe that service is our business. We are a service church. We exist to serve. We are obsessed with service. The highest calling of any Christian is the calling to be a servant. Self-esteem comes from service. Not from ego and status.

Maturity is when you get off the horse and serve; it is when you fold your sleeves and serve; it is when you take off the bib and you put on the apron. Mark 10:45.

(S)MALL GROUPS CONNECTING PEOPLE:

CONNECTING PEOPLE: We want our people to commit fully to participate in a biblical functioning small group for synergy, leadership preparation and thus grow in Christ likeness. It is commitment to fellowship that is relational and sacrificial.

Our goal is to provide multiple opportunities for people to get involved in biblical community. Our objective firstly provides variety of small group to minister to different needs of our community (that is singles, couples, recovery groups, parenting etc.).

Secondly provide a training system that would train group leaders on the purpose of small groups as well as foster multiplication of groups. 1 Cor. 12:15, John 15:4.

Here, our Small Group System is divided into 2 major- The Interest-based Group (Community Group) and the Geographical location-based Group (Experience Centre).

This is the statement of Bible doctrine as believed and taught by THE LOVECHANNELS. This statement of faith has its source in the Bible and is in total agreement with the foundational principle of the doctrines of Christ.

1. We believe that the Bible contains the inspired and infallible Word of God. (2Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

2. We believe that there is only one God eternally existent in three (3) persons; God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Eph. 4:5-6, 2 Cor. 8:16; Gen. 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17)

3. We believe in the deity of Christ: (John 1:1-4; John 10:30; Heb. 1:1-5)

• He was born of a virgin; (Matt. 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35)
• He was conceived of the Holy Spirit; (Matt. 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35)
• He died; (John 19:30-35)
• He rose again from the dead bodily; (John 20:25-29; Luke 24:36-40)
• He ascended into heaven bodily; (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thess. 4:16)

4. We believe in the rapture of the church and the second coming of Christ. (1 Thess. 4:16-17; Matthew 24:29-30)

5. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19; Luke 24:47; Eph. 1:7)

6. We believe in the regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God is essential for personal salvation. (Titus 2:5; John 3:3-5; Eph. 5:25-27)

7. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing for the body and salvation for the soul of everyone that believes. (1Peter 2:24; Acts 3:16; Acts 9:32-35)

8. We believe that when an individual receives the Holy Spirit, he receives divine enablement for Christian service and witness. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 3:1-26; 4:5-12)

9. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:16; 1 Cor. 6:11)

10. We believe in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the former to eternal life and the latter to eternal judgment. (Rev. 20:11-15; 1 Cor. 15:12-23).
